You spot a jacket at an op shop, a piece for your wardrobe, or a donation that needs a little research. [Shopfront Lens](https://lens.shopfront.app/) helps you look closer before you decide what to do with it.

The app is now available on the [Apple App Store](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/shopfront-lens/id6808532763) and [Google Play](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.shopfront.lens). Sign in with your Shopfront account; if you are new, create an account on the Shopfront website before signing in to Lens.

## Compare a find with the market

Take a clear photo and Lens suggests product details, an asking-price estimate and similar listings. You can also photograph a price tag, review the recognised price and compare it with the online range. Use **For me** to consider a personal purchase, or **To resell** to explore a resale scenario with your own costs.

The comparisons show what sellers are asking. They are not confirmed sales, a valuation or guaranteed profit. Check the condition, model and source listings before relying on an estimate.

Registered Free accounts include 200 native price checks per calendar month. Web and native allowances are separate, and reset at midnight in Melbourne on the first of the month. Paid plans include higher native allowances.

## Keep useful details together

Save finds and organise them into collections. Keep notes, photos and price-check context together, remember useful places, and choose what to share. Location access is optional; review the details before sharing a find.

Measurement photos let you keep dimensions with the item. You can enter measurements manually, select centimetres or inches, and use reusable styles for lines and labels. Camera assistance depends on device support and conditions; check measurements with a tape when precision matters.

Saved finds and collections live on your device. Signing in on another phone does not restore them, and local data can be lost after sign-out, clearing app data or uninstalling. Price checks sent to Shopfront have their own server-side retention. See the guide for storage and recovery details.

## A companion to the Shopfront workflow

Lens helps with research and organising finds on your phone. The [main Shopfront dashboard](https://admin.shopfront.app/) handles listing review and marketplace publishing. Where your workspace has listing-generation access and remaining allowance, you can send selected Lens items to Shopfront drafts, then review them before publishing. Saving a find does not automatically create or publish a listing.

Want to check a price without installing an app? [Product Lens on the web](/lens/) remains available for browser photo price checks.

## Start with one find

Download Lens, sign in, and try a photo check on something you can inspect yourself. Compare the result with the item and source listings, then save the details you want to keep.

The [Shopfront Lens getting-started guide](https://docs.shopfront.app/docs/setup/shopfront-lens) walks through installation, account access, price checks, measurements, allowances, sharing and troubleshooting. Explore the [Lens feature pages](https://lens.shopfront.app/) for the native experience, or contact [Shopfront support](mailto:contact@shopfront.app) if you get stuck.
