Art Academia is the visual-arts splinter of the academia family, centred on art-school and museum-life — sculpting, painting, sketching, photography, animation, fashion. The wardrobe combines vintage-elegant academia staples (white button-downs, tartan skirts, oversized blazers, turtlenecks, loafers, knee-high socks) with painter-coded comfort pieces (paint-spattered overalls, slouchy denim, smock dresses, deep pockets for charcoal and brushes). Plaid patterns, woollen textures and warm earth tones dominate; second-hand and DIY pieces are valued, and thrift-store finds are core to the look. The lifestyle is coffee shops, dimly-lit bookstores, museum afternoons and the smell of linseed oil — a visual life lived in studios and galleries rather than libraries.
