Quiet Luxury — also called Stealth Wealth — is the contemporary expression of old-money sensibility for a 2020s audience. The look avoids logos, monograms and obvious branding in favour of expensive materials (cashmere, vicuna, fine merino), subtle craftsmanship visible only up close, and a deliberately neutral palette. It surged after the 2023 success of Succession dressed its characters in The Row, Loro Piana and Brunello Cucinelli, and became the dominant aspirational mode for fashion-aware consumers tired of logo fatigue.

Not Minimalist — Quiet Luxury is specifically about expensive materials and subtle wealth signalling; Minimalism is about formal restraint regardless of price. Not Old Money — Old Money is heritage equestrian/WASP; Quiet Luxury is the Loro-Piana/Brunello school.
