Fragile Item
An item requiring extra packaging care due to risk of breakage — ceramics, glassware, vintage electronics, records, jewellery. Fragile items should be double-boxed with cushioning material between layers. Carriers do not guarantee gentle handling regardless of 'Fragile' labels — pack defensively. Insurance is advisable for fragile items over $100. Disclosing the item's fragility in your listing and photographing your packaging can protect you from damage claims.
