Repro / Reproduction
An item made to replicate the design of a vintage or discontinued original, not the original itself. Reproductions are legal (unlike counterfeits — which replicate branded goods with intent to deceive). Examples: new-production vintage-style workwear, band tee reprints, reproduction ceramics. Always disclose repro status — selling a repro as original is misrepresentation. Repros are common in the vintage market and buyers are often aware — but they still expect honesty.
