Tacticool is a portmanteau of 'tactical' and 'cool,' describing the civilian aesthetic centred on military-style clothing, equipment and prop replicas of tactical firearms. The wardrobe pulls from modern special-forces gear: combat shirts and pants, plate-carrier vests with MOLLE webbing, helmets, balaclavas, combat boots, holsters and gear loops, often mixed with civilian clothing like jeans and flannels.
