- The European secondhand-fashion marketplace that genuinely charges sellers nothing. Vinted earns from the Buyer Protection fee paid by buyers at checkout — roughly 5% + a small fixed fee on orders under €500, dropping to 2% on higher-value orders. Sellers list, sell and withdraw with zero commission, listing fee or processing on their side.

- Cross-listing TO Vinted isn't currently supported — Vinted's anti-automation stance is the strictest in the secondhand space, and we'd rather wait until reliable integration is possible than ship something that breaks for sellers. For now, the calculator below models wallet payouts against the buyer's checkout total.

FAQs about selling on Vinted
Does Vinted charge sellers any fees?
No. Vinted is genuinely 0% for sellers — no commission, no listing fees, no payment processing fees deducted from sales. The platform earns from the buyer-paid Buyer Protection fee at checkout.
What's the Buyer Protection fee on Vinted?
A fee Vinted adds to the buyer's checkout — typically 3-8% of the item price plus a small fixed amount, varying by country. It funds Vinted's escrow, dispute handling and shipping insurance. It's separate from the item price and the seller doesn't see it deducted.
How do Vinted payouts work?
Funds release to your in-app Vinted wallet a few days after the buyer confirms receipt. From the wallet, transfer to a linked bank account — the first transfer per month is usually free, subsequent transfers may cost a small fee depending on your country.
Can Shopfront cross-list to Vinted?
Not yet. Vinted has the strictest anti-automation stance of any major secondhand marketplace and reliable cross-listing isn't currently supported. We're being honest about this rather than promising something that doesn't work yet.
Why is Vinted free for sellers?
Vinted's economic model puts the fee on the buyer side rather than the seller side. The buyer pays Buyer Protection at checkout, and that revenue covers platform costs. The trade-off for sellers: zero fees but a slightly higher checkout total for buyers compared to a fee-charging marketplace.
Where does Vinted operate?
Vinted operates across most of the EU, the UK and the US. It's strongest in continental Europe (France, Germany, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Lithuania) and the UK — those markets have the deepest active buyer base.
