The look is built around blown-out volumous curled hair (often bleached and extended), big bouffant updos with tiaras or oversized bows, full eyelashes, baby-pink ruffle-tiered dresses, lace gloves, dolly-shoe heels and crystal-bedazzled phone cases. Wearers tend to skew older than other Gyaru substyles. Liz Lisa remains the canonical brand, and the look has had a low-volume but persistent presence ever since.

Not Hime Lolita — Hime Gyaru is a Gyaru substyle with bleached hair and Shibuya-109 dolly-shoe heels; Hime Lolita keeps the structured Lolita petticoat-bell silhouette and stricter coordination rules.
