A 2024 revival under labels like 'librariancore' and 'nerdy fashion' returned the look with a more contemporary tailoring slant — knit vests over button-downs, pleated trousers, loafers, glasses chains and tote-bag-with-paperback styling. The look celebrates intellectualism as a style register rather than as actual nerd identity.
