Flyp costs $9 a month, flat, with no tiers and no add-ons — after 100 days free with no card required. Shopfront costs more than that.
If price is what decides this for you, the honest answer is that Flyp wins and you should stay on it. We would rather say so here than have you find out after a subscription.
There is exactly one reason to read further: marketplaces. The Flyp details below were read from its own pages on 21 August 2026, and the sourced breakdown is on our Shopfront vs Flyp comparison.
The three marketplaces this is actually about
Flyp reaches six: Poshmark, eBay, Mercari, Facebook Marketplace, Depop and Etsy.
It does not reach Grailed, Shopify or Vestiaire Collective. Shopfront does.
That is the whole case. If you sell menswear and streetwear, Grailed matters. If you run your own storefront, Shopify matters. If you sell designer resale, Vestiaire matters. If none of those three describe you, close this tab — you are looking at paying more for marketplaces you do not use.
Going the other way, Shopfront does not reach Poshmark, Mercari or Etsy. Flyp is built around Poshmark automation especially, so if your day runs on Poshmark, nothing here improves it.
Sort your last three months of sales by marketplace before you go further. This decision is entirely a question of where your buyers are, and no amount of feature comparison substitutes for that number.
What moves, and what does not
| Channel | On Flyp | Shopfront imports it | Shopfront lists to it |
|---|---|---|---|
| eBay | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Depop | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Facebook Marketplace | Yes | No — relist from Shopfront | Yes, via the browser extension |
| Poshmark, Mercari, Etsy | Yes | No | No — these stay with Flyp |
| Grailed | No | Yes | Yes |
| Shopify | No | Yes | Yes |
| Vestiaire Collective | No | No — list from Shopfront | Yes |
Coming from Flyp you have less to bring across than most, because only three of your channels overlap with ours. That makes the migration quick and the decision the hard part, which is the reverse of how these usually go.
Step 1: Connect your marketplaces
Connect what you sell on today — most likely eBay and Depop — plus whichever of Grailed, Shopify or Vestiaire Collective brought you here.
Facebook Marketplace behaves differently from the rest. It has no public API, so Shopfront dispatches every list and delist through a Chrome extension running in your own browser rather than on a server, which means those actions need your browser open. Flyp handles Facebook too, so this is a change in mechanism rather than a change in coverage.
Step 2: Import your live listings
Shopfront imports from eBay, Depop, Grailed and Shopify — photos and details included. It reads the marketplaces directly, so you do not need a Flyp export to move your active listings, and there is nothing to upload.
Flyp does not publicly document an export, so if you keep costs, notes or sold history in it, check what you can get out before you close the account rather than after.
Import from one channel, not both. eBay usually holds the fuller descriptions. Importing the same products again from Depop afterwards is the standard way to end up with a duplicated catalogue.
Try it on a small batch first. Import a handful and check them against what is live. Start your free trial before you cancel anything — the 100 days of Flyp you may still have running cost you nothing to keep.
Step 3: List to the channels you came for
This is the step that justifies the move, so do it before you judge the switch.
Your products are in Shopfront after step 2. Publishing them to Grailed, Shopify or Vestiaire Collective is a listing action, not a rebuild. Facebook Marketplace works the same way — Shopfront cannot import your existing Facebook listings, so those are republished from your imported products rather than read back.
If you list to Grailed and Vestiaire and see no lift after a few weeks, that is real information. It is cheaper to learn it during a trial than after moving everything.
Step 4: Do not let both tools delist
Flyp auto-delists sold items and syncs inventory. Shopfront runs sale detection on every plan. Two systems acting on one listing is how an item gets pulled while it is still for sale.
Turn Flyp’s automation off for a channel before Shopfront takes it over, one channel at a time. Since only eBay, Depop and Facebook overlap, this is a short list.
Verify before you switch anything off:
- Every product you expected is in Shopfront, once — not twice.
- Photos came across in order, with the right one first.
- Prices match what is live now.
- Sizes, brands and conditions survived. Spot-check ten rather than trusting a count.
- Anything that failed to import has been dealt with rather than quietly dropped.
Step 5: Decide about Flyp rather than cancelling reflexively
This is the one guide in the set where cancelling may be the wrong move.
Flyp reaches Poshmark, Mercari and Etsy. Shopfront never will on current plans. If you have listings there that still sell, keeping Flyp at $9 a month alongside Shopfront costs less than most sellers lose by abandoning three marketplaces — and the two tools do not conflict as long as they are not automating the same channel.
Cancel Flyp if you have stopped selling on Poshmark, Mercari and Etsy entirely. Keep it if you have not. Running both deliberately is a legitimate outcome here, not a failure to finish the migration.
Common snags
A duplicated catalogue. Importing the same products from both eBay and Depop. Import from one, confirm, then publish outward.
Facebook listings not going out. They run through the Chrome extension in your browser. If it is not installed or the browser is closed, those actions wait.
Expecting Poshmark to appear in Shopfront. It will not. Shopfront has no Poshmark connection at all, so those listings are untouched and stay managed in Flyp.
Frequently asked questions
Is Shopfront cheaper than Flyp?
No. Flyp is $9 a month flat with no tiers and no add-ons, after 100 days free with no card. Shopfront costs more. If price is the deciding factor, Flyp wins it.
Why would I move to a more expensive tool?
Marketplaces. Flyp reaches Poshmark, eBay, Mercari, Facebook Marketplace, Depop and Etsy. It does not reach Grailed, Shopify or Vestiaire Collective, and those three are the whole reason to switch.
What happens to my Poshmark, Mercari and Etsy listings?
They stay where they are. Shopfront does not list to those three. Flyp is built around Poshmark automation in particular, so if that is your workflow, staying is the right call.
How much of my catalogue actually comes across?
Shopfront imports live listings from eBay, Depop, Grailed and Shopify. Coming from Flyp that usually means eBay and Depop — your Facebook Marketplace listings are rebuilt from those imported products, and Poshmark, Mercari and Etsy stay put.
Do I need to export anything from Flyp?
Not to move your active listings — Shopfront reads those straight from the marketplaces. Flyp does not publicly document an export, so if you keep costs, notes or sold history in it, check what you can retrieve before closing the account.
